Machine Learning
The aim of this project is to create a software application utilizing artificial intelligence. This application should aim to help the community.
Task
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, our team was not able to come together to show our application during class. Instead, we have created a video explaining and showing the prototype app that we created.
Presentation
Now it's your turn to test out our prototype app.
We have created a Google Drive to share all the work we have compiled throughout this task.

(DISCLAIMER)
The worksheets in the Google Drive have been split into ‘Individual Worksheets’ and ‘Group Worksheets’. The individual worksheets are very similar to each other because, as a team, we had already come up with the basic idea of the app beforehand.

How to try out our prototype app? Here's a guide:

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE QUARANTINE ACTIVITIES APP

Then CLICK HERE TO HEAD INTO SCRATCH

Next, click File > Load From Your Computer and select the file you just downloaded.

Lastly, click the Full-Screen arrows and when you're ready, press the Green Flag to start!

Quarantine Activities App
Great teamwork and communication was required throughout this entire project. No step could have been done without the other members of my team (Medha and Nichole). I believe we all worked efficiently together to create a prototype app that is able to successfully suggest an activity based on a person's interest. Creating the app was most likely the most challenging part of the project. Together, we worked to bring our idea to life. Coming across difficulties and questions on how we would achieve certain outcomes, we were able to worked it out in the end through trial and error. Each detail on the phone including the textbox, wi-fi symbol, profile picture and more were all hand drawn. A lot of hard work has gone into creating our very first prototype app. We even had to retrain the machine multiple times to receive more accurate results. All in all, this was a fun and interesting task that truly challenged us, especially during this time when we are not able to meet and discuss issues face-to-face.
